The question I get the most is "Were you always into fitness?" I laugh because my husband who was a former National Level bodybuilding competitor and still is quite muscular seems to draw attention to our likeness of fitness. I get the feeling people wonder if I got into fitness because of him. Our joke is, no he was pretending to be into fitness to get me. You can see we laugh a lot in our marriage.
The real deal is I have always loved weight lifting and I began my junior year in high school. When I met Randy though that is when I learned how to eat in order to build muscle. I worked at Bally Total Fitness through out college and competed in the N.P.C. as I pursed my degree in Physical Education.
Today, I have been teaching for 10 years and have 2 little ones. I am a runner from March to November than I cross train during the winter. My experience with running is nothing earth shattering but doing 3 marathons has given me the confidence and drive to know that I can accomplish what I set my mind to. Incorporating the Beachbody programs into my cross training helps me when spring comes around to still be in condition for my weekly long distance miles. I believe in their programs because of the results you get and you feel amazing once you finish.
Next to training my other passion is nutrition. It is what you put into your body that matters and effects those results you are searching for. Just another reason, why I selected Beachbody.
